Rachel Zoe: Dropped by Selfridges

If you don't know who she is, then you shouldn't be here. But I'll forgive you this time.

An American celebrity stylist who basically gained her fame through her own reality show, Rachel Zoe launched an eponymous fashion line last year that hoped to turn into a couture lifestyle brand. However, it seems the future for Zoe is about as bright as cast member of the Geordie Shore.

A preview of Zoe's Fall 2012 Collection

It has just been reported that Selfridges, a luxury department store (for those of you who are outside of the UK), is going to drop Zoe's latest collection as it is too expensive. And because the line is not doing so well overall, she will not be showing at London Fashion Week this year, and won't make any public appearances. Ouch. Not a pretty streak for Miss Size-0.

To add salt to the wound, her reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, is also not doing so hot as there are rumours of that being cancelled and going down the drain.

In recent light of such news, it begs the question: is Rachel Zoe's empire going down like Naomi on the Westwood runway?
